ReStory story choices guide
ReStory has a replayable branching storyline with multiple endings, and the official description says customer interactions can change their lives. There is no single neutral route: dialogue and discoveries should be treated as story decisions, not shop-only flavor text.
What the official description confirms
The story branches through customer conversations and decisions made around their devices. Official examples include deciding whether to report a disturbing discovery inside a former gangster's phone and whether to help a lovestruck student confess.
These examples show that a repair can expose narrative information and that the response matters beyond the technical job. The official feature list explicitly describes multiple endings affected by player choices.
The game is designed for replay, so a profitable order result and a preferred story result should not be assumed to be the same thing. Read the full dialogue before committing.
Track a route without inventing outcomes
Before a major conversation, note the customer, device, dialogue choice, repair state, and day. After the next visit or message, record the visible consequence rather than interpreting an immediate reaction as the final ending flag.
Keep technical decisions separate from dialogue decisions. A missed deadline, incomplete requested service, different device condition, or later message can explain a changed result that first appears to come from one response.
If you want to compare routes, use a known save point and change one decision at a time. This produces a repeatable observation instead of a one-playthrough assumption.
How this guide handles spoilers
This page explains the verified structure but does not publish a complete ending matrix without reproducible evidence. Character names, ending requirements, and guaranteed consequences are omitted when the official material does not establish them.
A community route can still be useful when it names the game version, starting state, exact choices, and observed result. Without that context, treat the report as a possibility rather than a fixed rule.
For a first playthrough, choose naturally and use the shop systems as intended. For later runs, keep route notes and compare only the decisions you deliberately changed.
